Program Overview

The purpose of our Pre-K 3 program is to provide opportunities for learning for young children in a nurturing environment where they can grow socially, spiritually, emotionally, intellectually, and physically. Pre-K 3 is often a child’s and parents' first school experience. Through out the school day children learn skills through routines and experiences in order to best prepare them for a career as life-long learner.
The school day may consist of:
• Morning Meeting
Calendar
Attendance
Weather
• Religion is incorporated through teachable moments, stories, prayer and experiences
*Handwriting Without Tears
*Scholastic's My Big World
• Learning Centers
Blocks Dramatic Play
Books Manipulatives/Games
Puzzles Easel/Art/ Writing
Sand/Water Table Play dough
Cooking Science
• Specials: Music and Movement, Art or Library
• Story Time
• Outside Play
• Lunch (a nut-free lunch and drink from home or pre-ordered school lunch)
After lunch, students who stay a Full-Day will have:- Rest
- Snack (a nut-free snack and drink from home)
- Enrichment activities/ centers/ outside time
