In the event that the State of Connecticut closes schools, please note that if “daycares” are still open, our preschool program will remain open as well. 

In the event of a statewide full closure including preschool, please know that we will provide activities for your child via Zoom, Seesaw and/or activities packets. 

Please stay tuned for more information in the event that it is needed.

Rules for Preschool  Zoom meetings:

• Please have your child sit at a table.  Your child should not be sitting on or laying in their beds.  They need a work space that is clutter free and without toys.
• Your child should have pencils, crayons, some plain paper or notebook, glue and scissors, and a white board and dry erase marker if you have one, ready to use during each Zoom meeting.  
• Please do not allow your child to eat while we are learning via Zoom.  Sips of water from their water bottle is fine.  But, your child should not be eating a meal or snack.
• Please have your child mute their microphone when they are not speaking.  Show them which button to push to mute themselves on their device.  Remember, background noises are amplified over Zoom.  Please be aware of this when you are in the room with your child.  Take your phone calls and conversations into another room.  Please be mindful of background noises, they are very distracting to your child and for our class.
• Please do not do the work for your child.  Remember that your child is learning new concepts, and that everyone learns at different paces.  It is important to help your child and encourage them to keep working and doing their best, but please do not give your child the answers.  Instead, help them work towards discovering the answers with your guidance, support, and patience.
• Our Preschool Zoom link and passcode is always the same for every meeting.
